nice idea but total overkill if you are using gloves. it is all relative to what you find comfortable and workable for your needs. Pro riders are holding onto the top of their fork legs - some have adjuster knobs, some are smooth etc. the Carbon Endurance Handlebar is an extra hand position and Aero tuck option - not for steering or total control of the front end - that is what the grips on the handlebar are for.

had alot of DM's about the sizing on the Carbon AERO Bolt-On, please see below. depending on stem used and GPS / PowerMeter etc, you can fit the hardware to either the Bolt-On or to your normal K-Edge mount etc.

as long as you don't do anything silly by over clamping the bolts - same rules apply when fitting brake levers and/or shifters to your carbon base or mtb handlebar
