Event Name: Nissan Trailseeker WC #1 - SA CHAMPS When: 14 July 2018 Where: Grabouw, Western Cape Category: MTB The magnificent valley of Grabouw hosts the first Western cape event of the NISSAN TrailSeeker series at Oak Valley in Grabouw on 14 July 2018. The area flaunts a diverse array of world-class mountain biking trails catering for all levels of riders. With panoramic views of vineyards surrounded by majestic mountains on the foot of Groenlandberg. The Oak Valley routes have claimed their fame from the Wines to Whales and the Cape Epic and need no introduction, but exciting new additions to the routes will ensure a memorable time on the bike for all. This family-friendly event caters for all levels of skill and fitness. Riders can choose between 10km, 20km, 40km, 70km and 90km routes on offer. Event Name: Race To The Sun When: 4 August 2018 Where: Hartebeespoort Dam High School, North West Category: MTB The Advendurance Race to the Sun is a 100 mile (162km) race from Hartebeespoort Dam to Sun City Valley of the waves. The following exciting entries are available: · Solo · Team of Two complete distance · Team of 4 complete distance · Team of Two Relay (2 stages) Each stage is approx 80km · Team of Four (2 stages) Each stage is approx 80km We allow Gravel road bikes into this event, modifications to your Mountain Bikes are welcome as long as they are safe for yourself and fellow competitors. (Rigid forks and hard tails will be fine, little to no corrugation roads) GPS device compulsary as you need to be able to navigate with the route GPS maps supplied. The picturesque town of Wellington is a scenic 45 minutes’ drive from Cape Town, with lots to offer to visitors both on and off the bike. The beautiful Bosman Family Vineyards is the perfect venue to host such a fun and family friendly event. New additions to the legendary trails will be unveiled, with challenging and enjoyable features for riders of all skill- and fitness levels. Event Name: Nissan Trailseeker #4 When: 3 November 2018 Where: Cullinan, Gauteng Category: MTB The town of Cullinan will come to life when mountain bike thrill seekers overtake the town for the annual “diamond rush” that is NISSAN TrailSeeker. With winding single and dual tracks that are not normally accessible, trails are pristine and include river crossings as well. The longer routes may include some wildlife sightings, riding on the verge of a massive waterfall and through a cave! Go to Event Page

Event Name: Nissan Trailseeker #3 When: 15 September 2018 Where: Mabalingwe Nature Reserve, Limpopo Category: MTB Brave the Highveld cold and take a trip an hour and a half from Pretoria to Mabalingwe, which hosts the Lionman leg of the NISSAN TrailSeeker series. The leg at Lionman has become a “must-do -event” for all seasoned MTB thrill seekers, while still catering for newcomers, along with their families. Lionman boasts some of Mabalingwe’s most exciting routes for mountain bikers, with no overlaps or bottle necks, and is the perfect opportunity for families to join in the fun and make it an exciting weekend for some bush tranquillity. Legends MX is a relatively new locale, this venue was rated the best vibe in 2017, and the organisers decided to combine the routes of the Hazeldean pretoria east event of 2017 and newly found trails around Bronkhorstspruit to bring riders the best of all worlds! Legends MX is surely becoming a new haven for MTB thrill seekers because of its central location, scenic views, river crossings and farm roads. Event Name: Nissan Trailseeker #1 When: 5 May 2018 Where: Buffelsdrift, Gauteng Category: MTB Just north of Pretoria close to Roodeplaat dam, lies a bushveld haven filled with trails made up of farm roads, cattle paths, dual tracks and strategically designed single track for mountain bikers and the NISSAN TrailSeeker event. The terrain is hard and rocky amongst the grasslands but does boast some rivers and canals. Wildlife can often be seen on these routes, so keep an eye out for some buck species.
