  1. my point is men see us for one thing and one thing only... i know men belive in the " i can look at the menu but i'll eat at home" nonsense you look at the menu to see if anything is good enough to replace the dinner at home or substitute it for a while. but women have to be content with their dinner at home or they get their names smeared in mud and get labeled for it.
  2. im scottish... give me some credit here
  3. Why is it that the first thing that appeals to male cyclists is a good old nekkid pic of some idiot on a bike? Most hubber men have a better half who has to sit here and read how their guys salivate over "hot nekkid chicks" on bikes... As a beginner, i really don't have the best looking body and i will admit it as truth and not out of self pity. and to read that my other half loves looking at "hot nekkid chicks" on bikes. i find it insulting that a man can't see past the junk in a woman's trunk. i mean come on guys... we more than just bodies (even if some aren't so great) i for one am more brains than brawn for a woman and i keep telling myself its a phase but its starting to get hard to ignore when that person is reaching his fifties and still can't see the true value of a woman.
  4. wow party budget did not include the cleanup services afterward
  5. like i said they making to more effort to be seen... never said they were doimg more... when the scheizer hits the fan they are "out on another call" so anyone heard the latest on eskom?
  6. I don't think that is fair' date=' surely they also need to?know which way to point the barrel????!!!![/quote'] doubt it actually...
  7. this is where i suggest fat free pastries and confectionaries... either than or proper shock therapy as for the shooting straight... they so low budget the government could only afford the one - eyed instructor that taught good ol' chucky norris when he was twelve and even that was pushing their budget. i think they see it like this: if you smart enough to know where the trigger is then you qualify for law enforcement
  8. i think the rozzers have made themselves more noticed of late but there are two things i wish to point out before anyone can misunderstand me... 1. Where were they when the spar in primrose was robbed(known fatality was the security guard who at the time the perps entered the spar was pointing percy to the porceline and walking in on the hold up) and the very next day when the same guys hit the primrose pnp at (conveniently well prepared) lunch time. 2. As for the party, i know that i benoni the metros and the rozzers sit and braai just up the road from a taxi rank.... why should they get a special day just for themselves when they sit around all day and still get our hard earned money transferred to their bank accounts? i wish i could have a special public holiday named after me. i also (and rather annoyingly) sit around all day staring at the walls. but i second tedibear on the excellent service we received from the sibasa police... if you want good dependable protection from crime you must go venda...
  9. i have one issue with six in the morning... my domestic comes at seven...
  10. yeah i suppose i can be glad my name isn't marred by such things. o wait there is one thing....
  11. wow i don't know if i should say anything but crashing your bike is so not a good idea. i know you measure stature by who has the most scars but i personally find falling an embarrassing experience. but that is just me
  12. Thanks you all. and thanks tedi my dear. we heard about the linksfield route but we couldn't find the entrance or we probably weren't looking properly. i suppose i could add about the distance part. i don't want to sound like a roast chicken but if there are excessively terrains involved distance and speed might become a problem. like i said i have the fitness level of a sloth. especially with a bike.
  13. ok i just searched on the net for the edenglen pedalers club and i found it in file thirteen...
  14. As the above-mentioned partner in crime i would like to put up in my defense that i haven't been on any form of bike since i was 14. im now older so i have to regain the daring confidence i had. also the bike in question was a size or two too big and it was a road bike... i now have a beautiful all terra MTB and the fitness level of a sloth. i do however find a dirt road a wee bit better than a tar road, so if anyone can point me in the direction of one i would be greatful. also does anyone have the edeglen pedalers club contact details?
