  1. Hi Folks, I'm looking for a 12x142 thru axle with a 1mm thread pitch. I made the mistake of buying one with a 1.5mm pitch 🙄 Didn't realize there so many different options. Anyone in the Gauteng area that can assist / trade for one? Thanks
  2. I am happy to report that it all ended well. The parcel was expedited and in the locker by 16:00 yesterday.
  3. Thanks for the input folks. I had an e-mail response from a senior manager at the Courier Guy. His respones is: All corrected and parcel sent out for delivery. Hopefully the story ends well.
  4. I recently bought a groupset off BikeHub and asked the seller to ship this through Pudo. I have done this in the past without any problems. I got an e-mail yesterday evening to notify me that the locker where the goods were supposed to be collected was empty. I queried it with the seller who confirmed that the goods were placed in the locker and he received confirmation that it was deposited. I have queried it with the courier company and awaiting a response. Has anyone else had similar experiences?
  5. Can anyone assist with a remote lockout for a front Fox 32 shock? I’m trying to help a friend.
  6. Hi Folks, I’m looking for the Mavic rear thru axle adapter for my Mavic CrossMax SLR rear wheel. It currently has a quick release.
  7. I have been riding with entry level Rudy project swifty’s and the clip on optical inserts. It works for me and is a lot cheaper then prescription lenses.
  8. Wayne Luyt from L8 bicycles also makes this tool. He’s in Capetown but can ship county wide.
  9. I have a busted 26er Mavic crossmax rear wheel with plenty of usable spokes. Happy to give it to you as a donor
  10. Hi Folks, i'm looking for the nut that fastens on the back of this brake caliper. The photo shows the broken one. It's Campagnolo.
  11. Thank you for the info, much appreciated.
  12. Here is by saddle bag, home made. Big enough to carry a spare tube and tools. Small enough not to be in the way
  13. Is there anyone that can help to identify this steel frame? British BB, Columbus dropouts and a distinctive arrow on the saddle post clamp. No stamps or numbers visible on the frame and lugs. Some speculation to suggest Maestro, a local built frame built by Rodney Andrews?
  14. I had the same problem and used dry ice to freeze / shrink the seatpost. I used an old 2l plastic cool drink bottle and cut it down the middle to get it around the seatpost. Taped it up and chipped pieces of dry ice off and filled it up around the seatpost. The seatpost gets a lot colder than using normal ice and I was lucky enough to free the seatpost
  15. Oh boy, the similarities are uncanny, same thing happened to me. After school I went to the airforce for my “diensplig” coming home I discovered my bike was sold, even my cycling kit as it fitted the guy who bought the bike! “Because you have a car, why would you need a bicycle” All I have left is a photo. I also wondered what happened to my old bike
