I really don't understand the perception that wanting a reason is considered moaning. No one is really disputing that it's still extreme value for money but that's not the problem. Posting a massive few increase (compared to previous years) and not explaining it, is however clearly causing a problem. even a simple paragraph explaining that costs of water and petrol had to be factored in, or that farmers want more money, or that new things are planned - any of this would've done a massive amount to calm people's nerves. It's just poor communication, and the fact that they disabled comments on the post regarding the fees just reinforces this. As for the AGM, not attending does not mean you have no right to question or be informed of the reasons for the clubs decisions, it just means you can't complain about the direction these decisions are heading because you didn't utilise your opportunity to influence them. Yes the minutes will be published eventually, they may or may not provide clarity, but if they had the time to write up posts regarding how much money they want for next year they certainly had the time to summarise why.
