Bought my bike November 2006. The LX bearings only lasted 2000km. I've now replaced them with XTR's - hopefully I will have better luck this time.

It is like the incredible machine - may not be useful, but lots of fun to play and look at.

scotty, when did you buy your bicycle and when. Maybe someone somewhere still has some Ignitors.

We're off on a rabbit trail here - I actually want to know who stocks a variety of Maxxis MTB tyres here in Joburg.

I like the TTs - it is all I've been using so far. And here in Joburg I don't need anything else. But I am doing the Sani2c and want to be prepared for all kinds of terrain. I can just imagine last year's mud with TTs...

I have spoken to Robbie Powell at Probike (I think they are the distributers of Maxxis in SA), and he says the Ignitors have been discontinued. I am looking for the Mimo USTs.

Do any of you know of a bicycle shop in Johannesburg that stocks more than just the Maxxis Larsen TTs and Crossmarks?
