Does anyone know how far apart the batches start?

Such good news

This may be a dumb question but ... what is considered a "basic bike cleaning kit"? I have so much stuff I want to take "just in case" ... I have trouble packing lightly

This was my first half-marathon and I have a long way to go with my fitness but climbing is definitely not my strong point and with 30km's odd of climbing I was very slow. I loved every minute of the route ... after all it is Sabie! I just want to say I am still replaying the last 10km of downhill and singletrack in my dreams every night Thanks to everyone for making the race so wonderful!

Well done! Just off topic though (sorry) ... how do you do the overlap of route profiles?

Flowing singletrack and berms, they are green/easy routes so it is a lot of fun!

I managed 15:58 the other day ... The start/finish is at the wooden planks just before "wind er up" ... And take the short route through "Green Mile" ... Going to have to work on my time .... the record is just under 8 minutes if I remember correctly

Update ... My husband and I managed to get a Sani2C entry for 2012 Excited and nervous all at the same time

I have been looking around at stage races for 2012 as a challenge for myself, but can't decide ... they all look so nice to do. Any suggestions for around 2 - 4 days?
