  1. You had it lucky Starvin Marvin, I spent 3 times that after an exhaust crack and some engine work, whilst servicing.........but then the performance afterward brings back the grin factor x100!!!! Ride safe chaps.
  2. I've been on KTM 640 for several years...........but have now upgraded to Ktm 990.
  3. Htone, I've been at it for 5 months now. The biggest benefit has been the ability not to have to drink anything besides water while training. I have purposefully also been training at racepace to test the effect, and on a few occasions found myself without energy. As I progress, I am wondering about endurance events and the nutrition you would take. I would personally not want to go sugar and Gu type syrups and the like, but some carbs would be ok because you burn it? Talking about potato here, am I right in my thinking? Any suggestions and advice on what you guys have found to be good foods whiles on the move? Much appreciated, Roundedlegman
  4. did not work........ try again
  5. Htone Howzit, I see you are still fanning the hi fat flame!! I got roped into my first Trans baviaans and have been training at max levels whilst doing LCHF, with a lot of experimentation. Since the Argus, I'm 6kgs lighter and staying consistently on 82kg's. I find myself "bonking" sometimes (ride without power and energy) when I ride in the pm, without having had a substantial lunch. But as I say, when I ride its 2 hrs and it is at 75% plus. I think its because my fat intake on some days are still not high enough, and the occasional sin like Mr lindt or a limp bizkit in my coffee , but I am not addicted, really! I have also found that a green super juice consisting of Spinach, cucumber, fresh lemon and apple juice in the blender is helping to keep my immune strong. Sofar I am very happy with progress into the new lifestyle. What does the ketosticks and tester show you w.r.t LCHF? RB
