So I go down to my local bike shop to purchase a pair of new shoes along with a big chain ring, with a certain budget in mind!!!! and thats when things went very wrong. firstly I got the part description wrong so I was given the incorrect part. but regardless, how can a bike shop charge R1200.00 for a XT Chain ring and R315.00 for the standard Shimano ring, this is simply taking the piss., im not hard pressed to spend cash but when you are blatently ripped off its not on. when are these bike shops going to realise that this kind of thing causes people to import from the likes of crc I have no more faith in bike shops
