  1. Give a listen to the New CREED Album - Full Circle. Cannot beleive it has been 8 years since they have gone on their own ventures (Alterbridge "Mark Tremonti" and Strapp Solo Career). You can clearly hear the influence of Mark Tremonti improved palying style. Go give it a listen if you can find it. Ears Wide Open!
  2. Don't take my word for it! i am not so much into the detail of grams and what weights can be saved and where? I just ride the bikes and do not care much for savings in small matters, More power less weight in body mass! thats my motto I am just qoting what i have read on other reviews on websites and don't care much for debates on such a small margin as really at the end of the day you only get out what you put in on the training and i can't see myself worrying much about 20 or 100 grams. If memory serves me correctly, there was a weight saving of around 140 odd grams from the SL2 to SL3. That i am sure has been done in the back stays and the bonding process. The paint? well your guess is as good as mine as i cannot recall what frames size this was a comparitive? The black colour is not paint, just clear coat over the carbon, which is very cool to see the fine weave
  3. Indeed, Stringbean is right, i forgot the bearings etc, as in my haste and excitement i just grabbed the frame and weighed it and just started building it myself! (Weight quoted is with no fork or bearings and headset!)
  4. Big difference in handling, meaning the front end is quick and no hand riding means hands on or close to bars! it is quick, but decending is quicker and direct. Don't know if it is me, but it is as comfortable as my SL2 Roubaix! Not as bone jarring as my SL2 All parts and bars etc are the same as all my bikes, S-Works , but i do have FSA bars on this one for now! Frame weight on the 58 cm came in at just on a Kilo, my SL2 is ligther by around 100 g, big deal, but this SL3 is painted compared tomy naked SL2. Understandably the SL3 will be around the same and if not lighter in the black/red naked version. I have not seen any others on the road yet, but expect to see a 56cm Campag 11 Super Record soon. They are like hens teeth right now! You wont be sorry with the wait or weight!!!!
  5. Very Happy to say Yip indeed and Very VERY happy with it. For those jokers out there that think it's only a paint job, Sorry for you! The build of the bike is completely different. I have been riding it now for 2 weeks and admit, it is difficult taking the SL2 out now The back stays stiffness and response of the bike is the first thing i noted. I can compare as i have had them all and still have my SL2! Also just await new white saddle! No mistakes, i am not disappointed in this bad boy.
  6. Do you mean one of these bad boys?
  7. New U2 Album - No Line on the Horizon 1st release song is "Get on your boots" the album is like their old stuff and better. The best song is Magnificent - Yeahh Only offically released here on the 2 March!!!!
  8. You seem to have all the answers here! Were you the one driving the Green LR? Cheating and hanging on vehicles says more about a rider than finishing with a chip on! NOT. It was not my job to check for a chip on ever rider that crossed the mats, however seeing a very poor sportsman turns my gut and there are 7 names on the list as finishing, so that speaks for its self! Not! I am sure PPA are well aware of this JOKER, glad he was not in my team, would never want to ride with him again. CHEATER!
  9. Yeah as a support vehicle driver on the day, i saw that as well! found it very strange that there was a SA Jeux guy hanging onto a Green LandRover on the last few climbs!!! behind the six guys left in the group 1 km up the road? On the last descend before the finish saw the same guy hanging around the Green LR again, this time in front of the 6 man SA Jeux bunch After passing the bunch and watching the finish there was 7 guys on the line? VERY STRANGE? I know there were alot of people hooting at the Green LR and dishonest rider! Honesty always prevails! Anyone else see this JOKER? did not get his number, i bet he has told all his mates how he finished so well and in the respective time! Who ever you are, you know your a CHEATTER and dishonest rider.
