  1. Hey Shaper Thanks! I actually have contacted them and they don't have it. I didnt realize that they carried Blackburn as well so I have reached out to them and Omnico. Although i was told that Feedback has better resistance vs Blackburn Appreciate this! Cyclelab will come back to me once the long weekend is over if they will carry more stock anytime soon!!
  2. Does anyone know if there are any shops in Jo'burg that carry Feedback Trainers or something similar. Basically a trainer that you can fold put it in a bag and bring it on a plane. Let me know as i am looking for one! Thanks
  3. You will probably get it faster than that! I picked up and collected one last week.....other stuff i ordered online a few weeks back have been delivered this week as well!!
  4. What happened? There are several things you can do to "fix it" Mine is under warranty, so i am just waiting for them to replace it now that they are functioning although with a massive backlog. Meanwhile i bought a Snap as an interim solution but will sell it the moment i get my replacement The distributors are working but it will be a long wait
  5. Haha Good news is that i went to collect my bike and the guy said "sorry, we can only finish it by Monday as we are super busy." Normally i would be fuming but i am happy they are doing a brisk trade Happy to ride my other cleaner bike for the weekend
  6. Sounds about right. That bike has sat on my trainer for the past 18 months, i think it has maybe 10 litres of sweat and alot of other stuff spilled all over it Will collect it later
  7. Agree I went to my LBS to pick up a smart trainer yesterday and wanted to alert this forum but decided against it for that reason. Last thing i want is for them to have to shut down! Today i send my bike for a nice wash and service, just helping them out with what little i can do
  8. I can give you an update based on several conversations i have had with owners of bike shops There are Kickrs and Tacx at Durban Port and suppliers but none will be shipped as there are no permits. Basically either we get to level 3 OR our precious minister allows e-commerce for sporting goods or whatever this falls under even at level 4. Alot of bike ships have "expected delivery" May 20th or whatever on their website if you pre-order. Not sure how they can commit to this when it is almost totally out of their control
  9. Hi all On a related question, my Kickr blew up. I have tried everything that has been asked of me. Does anyone know where i can get this service? Distributors aren't open so i am looking for options. I can deliver the kickr to the doorstep as long as it is within Gauteng. Let me know Ash
  10. Good point thanks but i think if there are dealers in SA, you probably can get the parts
  11. I think most people won;t declare it as new, just pack it into a bike bag and calmly walk through customs i guess
  12. Hi there Has anyone on this forum bought a bike from the states or have done a price comparison between bikes there and here in SA. I am about to upgrade or get a new bike but been advise that it maybe cheaper in the states and I travel there a few times a year for work Any insights is greatly appreciated Thanka
