  1. Irma fit. A few Rands more than your budget but comes highly recommended. You won't be disappointed. Some guys are just operators as to what an app tells them to adjust. She takes time and understands your lifestyle to understand your fitness level before touching your bike for adjustments.
  2. Ok Thanks, nice info there. Will continue to browse around the hub
  3. I have seen some Titans , hows the quality of these bikes?
  4. Thanks Grant, I am in cape town , I am not stuck to a brand at all
  5. Thanks, I saw this ya, but i'm looking for something with an air shock instead .
  6. Thanks Grant, Yes, I have been to 2 LBS , both gave good advice, and both also in not this exact words, said, don't buy the entry level bike, at least 29er, at least air shock , and this pushed the new bike price far out my budget , hence looking at the used market. 7. I guess if I'm not spending too much I will go for any wheel size, but considering resale, a 29er will probably be the best bet, all depends on the entire package I can get within budget. Thanks man
  8. Thanks guys, following this advice and will stick to the hub for looking instead
  9. Thanks Robert, I have decided to wait it out and see what 29er comes up for sale on the hub. Will all the suggestions when I actually make it to a viewing.
  10. Guys, from the 2 bikes I mentioned in my initial post, what would a decent price be to pay? Considering it is a 26er and will probably sell in a year or 2 , if I do decide to pursue the sport . And what do I look out for if I go an view and test it out Thanks
  11. Thanks man. I had a look at the hub, not finding much for around 7/8 k. If you guys know of something, please let me know, thanks
  12. Thanks guys for all the replies! I didn't expect this many replies, appreaciate it. I was also just looking at a hard tail, based on maintenance and cost of the bike, but I thought I found a dual Sus at a great price, so thought of taking it. For me at the moment, based on a little research, air suspension is the only must have. I'm in no hurry though, couldn't find much on the hub, so went to gumtree. Thanks again
  13. Thanks for the reply. Budget, and probably also not knowing if theres that much difference between 26 and 29, should I rather look at 29?
