  1. Canaris - bugger popular opinion - you should be shot for that.

  2. Just to show that there is a market for the fuller figure.  And to give guys the opportunity to "perve" more democractically

okay, now I understand why the ladies and bicycle thread is still more popular
  3. Hi' date=' I just had a chat with Nick, he was not tested in the last few months. CSA also has not been informed of this.

To pull his daughter into this is not very good taste. His son is a promising young rider and also dont deserve this.

I suspect this thread was started by a family member of a pro that was managed by Nick a few years ago, sour grapes. The same person also badmouths CSA, but are possibly part of our management on overseas trips. If you dont have proof rather stop. It causes big damage.

Neither his daughter or his son was "Pulled" into the false accusation against Nick.  Nick and his children are all high profile  and successful people.  If you mention one the others also spring to mind.  To show that  the family unit is successful and disciplined in their various careers and pursuits is a tribute to a great man.  What other South African family can have such success without hard work?  To mention them is to refute baser accusations against NICK

  5. okay, I get it.  It is never the woman's fault.  Always the guy to blame.

Women become involved in the sex industry because men force them into it.  Women NEVER willingly take their clothes off, pout seductively, and spread their legs (for the camera or for Tiger).  Honestly, there was a whole platoon of sex starved  SS men forcing them to do it.

Married women NEVER look or desire men (excluding their husbands but only if  he is well behaved).

Single women however have the licence to partake in the pleasures of the flesh, whenever they please (but normally only under duress or bribery).

And now you understand why it is all the men's fault.
  6. It can get verrrry nasty...... had a deep gash on my elbow fixed at a private hospital after we fell during the Telkom Classic in 2005.

They cleaned scrubbed and stapled the flaps of skin into place. A week later some of the scabs and the dressing fell off and it was rotten underneath and really looking verrrry bad.. Emergency operation where they scraped the area and transplanted some skin back.

I only have the scars now.

so you admit you are rotten to the core?Wink
  7. Most men are behaving like idiots these days.

They go from 0 - sex in 3.5 seconds ...

I am going to quote Billy Crystal here "Women need an occasion to have sex - men just need a place".

    1. You don't have to buy us beer to get lucky (it would be a nice touch' date=' but not necessary).

    2. We don't need dinner and a movie to get us in the mood (dinner would once again be a nice touch, but pizza is cool as well).

Go and see Defending the Caveman, read the chick-book Women are from Venus and men hate bras. We are different.

About the Bra thing you are wrong.  Men luuuuuuuv bra's, most because the contents........., and a bit of coloured lace can make a great thing look even better.Embarrassed  (witness ladies and bicycle thread)  The two best things about a bra is what is inside, and liberating them from imprisonment.  (the unwrapping is a absolute bonus)
  8. I work for Massmart' date=' the Fourways store is going to be unlike any other. Trust me you want it. How can you object to a project which creates 350 short term jobs and another 250 permanant?? [/quote']

mackie, you sound just like that very friendly lady on the street corner last night, and I was also not convinced after her aggressive sales pitch.  Point is I don't trust people that tell me to "trust them", or tell me that I "want it".

    Sing Canary SING!!!!!!!

as I said, I was not impressed or convinced, so I did not use her services.  It seems that there are however, hubbers that think that just because something is on offer they are obliged to test it, try it or take it.

One of the first rules of purchasing, is the harder the sales pitch the rubbisher (sic) the product.  When people start saying "trust me", "you want it" and "how can you object" then their products and arguments are flawed and probably dangerous for you.  Ergo, the friendly lady either slept alone that night or found solice in Mackie or BigH's arms.

  9. Okay lets get this thing right.

Firstly, if you want RESPEK you buy a steel frame.  (OnOne is good)

Secondly ditch all thought of gears.  You only really need one.

THirdly, shocks are for old people, the younger you are the less you need them. (that I have two).

Fourthy, in MTB everything you learnt on the road is wrong.

So if you want a fast learning curve go single speed HT, with a cheap front shock.  Yes you will fall hard and often, but that is how you learn.

    Remember scars trump tattoos.

    ALTERNATIVELY

buy a dual suspension, and you will ride over everything as if it was tar).  Entry is about R13000 and can climb for ever.  Just remember mtbkers don't like posers so rather start small and upgrade with your ability than pitch with a R50 000 bike and have a epic wipeout every 500 meters.  (leave that for the SS boitjes).
  10. nathrix' date=' hr, canaris, artegos: you guys are not helping here.

ok, can I come home already or am I still in the sh*tte?

sorry honey, woman in lycra do it for me (that's why I got you a bicycle and the sexy pair of assos shorts). I know I spend more time on my bicycle than on you, but Argus is a big comitment for me. I hope you understand.

Can I come in? Dont realy want to sleep in the car again...
