  1. i don't know if leaving them does anyone any good. so many of my non-cycling "friends" get so annoyed by cyclists' flying through a light when they can't that they have very little regard for cyclists themselves!
  2. once i cycled through a red light (district), but i stopped!
  3. thanks! looking forward to more sarcasm, wit and rudeness. bring it on!!!!!!!
  4. not pumped up. actually quite deflated. having a shocker of a day at work. love sarcasm, but it's sad that sarcasm's ugly sister - scepticism - rears it's ugly head all too often when we all see something, like the size of a track rider's thighs, that seems unbelievable.
  5. dude, you got size - or should that be "thighs" - issues! picked that up in your earlier reference to my "trunk" ? forget about watching the track on the telly, why not go have a look at the other chump pan zees at hector norris sometime?
  6. i watch a lot of cycling, so sorry, i can't agree. boonen's like the twice the height of your average track cyclist. as was cippo. and what about the thighs on the smaller sprinters like mcewen and even our own robert hunter? and riding for long distances day after day like you do in the grand tours starts breaking muscle. a friend of mine, an old pro track rider, says the thighs on track riders are developed in the same way that speed skaters get such huge thighs - it's the out-of kilter proportion of their upper and bottom bodies which makes them look so alien. chump, huh?
  7. but what about the size of the thighs of all those aussie sprinters who made a name for themselves in bmx and track before threatening the euros at the tour? are they doping?
  8. that's a hefty response! they called me elephantino because of the size of ears, not my thighs. and why diss track cyclists? they're hard buggers!
  9. anyone got any dope for me?
