That sounds right, I did only one 50km training ride before and thinking like a roadie that I can easily coast through a slow 75 km . I took nearly 7 hours- plenty pain involved.

Thanks, but at the time we were the majority and if you look back at the posts I was never one of those who swore at Joe. I do actually respect admins choices and welcomed Joe's different point of view. But Joe asking for it to be removed just because he didn't like it was not on. Admin stopped it because people were abusing Joe and not because of content. Lastly why are people not concerned about the 500 pages of half naked woman, if it's all about cycling and kids are on the hub? PS- Great looking woman, no objections from me.

Mojoman, the one about the hijacker that was shot. SloJo was not as he and his friends would put it, "trying to give his point of view" rather because they disagreed with the majority he complained about the thread and had it stopped!

Pity that last thread was ended because of Joe and his 3 friends, but just to end off we had no problem with an apposing view point, rather we had a problem with Joe not just voicing his view but rather having to " run to teacher to tell on us" So because he never liked something it must not be there( god' s of the hub), very progressive interlectual thinking you 3 stooges!

I did 75km before, very painful. So this year with less trainig it's the 45km, then you miss the 9km monster. But I hear it's still tough

You know what, there are plenty of other threads- baby girl that was attacked, hot half naked babes and more. Why did you not complain about those ?Joe is just keen on opposing anything and everything to be abrasive and controversial! I'm glad I started this thread and it seems 99% of our hubbers feel thr same!
