After riding with the Momsen Design seat post for about a month it has snapped. I went to climb Wendell's revenge at Rietvlei the day before I left for The Sabie Experience just to check my bike out, about 3/4 of the way up the climb I felt my saddle give way and the bottom part of the post cutting into the back of my leg, so I picked the saddle up and limped down to my car. The saddle was correctly inserted way past the minimum insert mark and I only weigh 72kg , if anyone has seen one of these seat post before they will know that it is an aluminium cnc machined post, and it snapped off just where it is machined from thick to thin. I'm lucky that I never took this post to Sabie , because if it broke on one of those hills I would have got much more than a cut on my leg. I handed the seat post back to the store last wednesday and I'm waiting for Momsen Design in P.E to get back to me! I'll let you know what transpires, but if you have one of these be careful!
