  1. Don't bother my friend has left 2 unanswered messages for Jean about servicing!
  2. Hi Maryke I'm starting your programme today so I'll let you know how it goes. The programme made for interesting reading this weekend, and thanks for assisting me with those queries, you are always very friendly and helpfull. Thanx Garth
  3. I hate to burst your ignorant and short sighted view, but all mountain biking started with modified roady technology, you roadie haters are getting quite boring now-Stop ! P.S 29 ers are Great!
  4. Yeah between 6 and 7 hours.
  5. RIP Andy, my thoughts are with your family and friends.
  6. Quote: Why would a supernatural being (son of god) be even the slightest bit worried about being crucified? Who said he was in the slightest bit worried, did he tell you that too?
  7. Agreed Big S There are just some miff people, roadies, mtb'ers , runners, paddlers....etc
  8. Agreed, so many people want to ride so they charge what they want!
  9. I hope the lady is ok! Makes a person feel sick.
  10. Quite easily...... jus kiddin. Thanks for calling me Victor Momsen.
  11. After riding with the Momsen Design seat post for about a month it has snapped. I went to climb Wendell's revenge at Rietvlei the day before I left for The Sabie Experience just to check my bike out, about 3/4 of the way up the climb I felt my saddle give way and the bottom part of the post cutting into the back of my leg, so I picked the saddle up and limped down to my car. The saddle was correctly inserted way past the minimum insert mark and I only weigh 72kg , if anyone has seen one of these seat post before they will know that it is an aluminium cnc machined post, and it snapped off just where it is machined from thick to thin. I'm lucky that I never took this post to Sabie , because if it broke on one of those hills I would have got much more than a cut on my leg. I handed the seat post back to the store last wednesday and I'm waiting for Momsen Design in P.E to get back to me! I'll let you know what transpires, but if you have one of these be careful!
  12. Can't wait to meet her, great looker
  13. Ha ha brilliant. I'll be there. I tried my lights out there on monday evening, and lucky I did because Blackburn flea lights are not as bright as I thought they would be.
  14. Hey Eldron Are you not going to miss a mountain king if it rains?
  15. Yeah yeah., but don't stress IdeJongh you always get the bad ass type that are so tough that Chuck Norris is even scared to ride with them.Let them go do downhill racing if they sooooooo bad!
  16. I could not agree with you more about having a bit of fun while you ride, but I disagree that mtb'rs are friendly and roadies are not. I have greeted many a mtb'er whilst riding at N.F's, Groenkloof and Van Gaalens and they were as miserable as Julius Malema at an AWB braai!
  17. Name and shame! Especially those idiots who say that they will buy an item from you, you then agree on a price and you never hear from them again! In the mean time you have told other guys that the item is sold, so if they don't have the decency to let you know that they are no longer interested, then name and shame them!
  18. HA Ha. Lets begin a 'stop buying bicycling mag' supporters group, at the first meeting we can burn old issues(which are the same as new issues )!
  19. Yeah yeah agreed. The worst is that bicycling mag has heard these sort of complaints before, and have responded by saying that they have had a very successful year sales wise, so basically to hell with us! So to hell we go to spend our cash on Ride and Tread mags!
  20. 1h40 ok ok ok 2.40
