So, I have been in discussion with Oakley and they have advised me to get into contact "Luxottica" Any Thoughts about them. I have to send all my faulty glasses through to them to see what can be done about them.. Something I also wanted to mention, is that, Oakley products have increased in price and I see it as an investment. I really don't mind paying R3000 for a pair of QUALITY glasses but they you would expect the product to last..

Thank you all for your input on this subject. Great Response's.. To answer a few questions.. Yes, I have taken this up with Oakley.. My response was sorry for you on my Glasses Frame. Just paid R1500 for replacement lenses. No other choice. My response to my Batwolfs was that they out of Warranty.. I need to pay for the Lenses myself. I have bought these glasses everywhere from Sunglass Hut (Batwolf R2800 because of the Polarized Lenses) & The Pro Shop (R2000).. I have to be honest, I am feeling the same about Oakley.. Love them but hate them.. Kinda like my wife I am now sorry for giving up my Rudi Projects.. Maybe, that is the way to go..

I have been a fan of Oakley for many years and currently I have 5 Pairs of Oakley product but Lately I have found that the Quality of their products have been deteriorating.. My Oakley Bat wolfs lenses have started to develop "bubbles" under their lenses. My Glasses frame that I have had for just over 2 year just snapped on the bridge of the Frame. My Half Jacket lenses (Transition Lenses) have stated to get, what I can only describe as cracks, in the lenses.. On the other hand. My Polarised Radars are brilliant. My racing jacket are so indestructible. The consistency of the products are just not the same as what they used to be

I complained last year about how shocking the event was with the Pro's from the 50 KM passing the 25 KM social riders. They listened. It was such and awesome ride and I so enjoyed it. The route was spectacular and awe VERY challenging. Well done to everyone who was involved as it was a very successful event. Well done and I will definably be back next year. Thank you..

I am buying a frame from a fellow hubber and want other's opinion on what size I should get.. I have a seat post that is 350mm and I am literally at the Max recommended height.. I don't cramp however I do get pins and needles in my hands ..

I am a 5ft 11" male weighing a hefty 90km.. I currently riding a 17" trek top fuel 26er (It is a little small for me).. I am looking to purchase a 29er frame and was wodnering what size I should purchase? Obviously it is a bigger than a 26er.. Please help ?

The Track was VERY muddy.. But it made for an awesome ride Yeah, I clocked 18km distance.. Photo's are avalible at action photos..

I complained a while ago about the Sun City race and how rude the Elites were while passing the back markers. That would be me Now it i my turn to compliment the Elites at the Emperors Palace MTB ride.. The guys that came past shouted "Track" and once past thanked us for moving out of the way.. We really don't mind moving out of the way however when we are sworn at, you just feel that great about moving out of the way.. Thank you for not being rude to us and we all ended up really enjoying the ride.. ..

Thanks for the Responses.. Makes for interesting reads.. When I stated the Single Track.. It was coming as you turned left once you got to the gate of the Sun City before you went under the Road going out.. That’s where the first bunch caught us.. Second was once you were heading out away from Sun City itself.. The so called track on the Left had deep gashes in it as well as huge rocks.. Now as an amateur.. I found it very difficult to ride..

I just wanted to have my two cents worth about the MTB Race at Lost City the weekend of the 22nd August.. Firstly.. What an Awesome Ride.. It was so much fun.. Thanks.. Secondly.. The Rant Part.. The Pros on the Course.. They came FLYING past us at about 15 KM whistling and screaming at us for us to move out of the way on a Single Track.. Ok.. Granted.. They are Pro and this is how they make their living.. However.. We are there participating and ensuring that Events like these take place.. We pay our entry fee to use the course and therefore have just as much of a right to be on the course as everyone else.. We are not pro and we are unfit and having fun with a day out in the sun with our family waiting for us on the finish line.. Let us have our fun. I don't know.. what do you think ?

It looks like you're right.. I do have to get another derailer... It's definatly not a Dual pull.. Only X Gen derailers are..

I have just rebuilt my bike by upgrading the frame to a Trek top Fuel Ex 7 Frame. It has been a great upgrade so far except the Front Derailer (SRAM X.9).. How do I install this because it seems to Pull from the bottom of the frame and not the Top like my old bike.. Any Ideas ?
