yes its a mix between gravel and some asphalt - great route ..... I would not mind doing again

any recommended long lasting and good value bibs for longer rides like 6-8 hours ? pricing and qaulity balance

Great !! we also did this last year April and its was amazing over 10 days - we are so lucky to have these routes and places to ride (for free)

I create my own events spend money on my bike and gear that I keep forever and determine my own level of challenge its been good so far................... Outside is free

Hence I bought a TI gravel bike with minimal maintenance and my value and enjoyment factor went up while my costs went down - was a good move . Now I spend money on bikepacking gear rather then components - all stuff that increase my enjoyment of the sport

Avis has the option for a 3 bike rack and one way rental to Plet - so 3 people can share a rental which will cost around R1500 max for the one way trip based on 3 sharing

Avis or Hertz Car rental with a 3 bike rack one way Cape Town , Stellenboch or Paarl to Plet - seems the easiest option or phone a friend , but we can share space and cost for getting there not an issue at all
