We went riding on Saturday and i was impressed by the maintenace of the parking area and rest rooms. We are so quick to take shots at government run institutions for being badly run but I think Groenkloof shows it differently. Well done guys.

I think that on a bicycle it is easier to notice people texting. I had a similar experience to Wedge a week ago. Driver in a Corsa nearly took me out twice whilst texting on his phone. The problem is the blatant lawless attitude of South African society. And the explosion of Blackberries are making the urge for drivers to text and drive worse.

50 km. I am humbled. Rietvlei can be tough...but awesome riding.

I have one that is two months old. Does. Not go off. Goes to clock mode. Manual says battery will last a year.

For realtly short ladies, i.e. 1.65 meters or shorter WS bike makes sense. Friend of mine could not fit on a S bike such as a Mongoose or Scott. But the XS Scott worked really well for her.

I started with baggies but found that on technical trails that the baggies get caught on the seat sometimes. Switched to Anatomic bib and it is great. But i think padding about tha same.
