  1. Yes, hmmm, maybe we were thinking of doing that Can only do this once the entries are confirmed and press releases confirmed with sponsors etc. Will happen soon though. The Pro riders as well as the Amateures wnat this event to happen. There has been a lot of enquires about having more TT events in the country.
  2. Here is your chance to go up against the big guns of cycling! Big prize money on offer and loads of lucky prizes to be had including shoes, TT bikes and more!! Prize money for different categories - Big name entrants and prize money yet to be announced. Watch this space
  3. paid about R13,000 They are the HP Aeros Tubular version. They are also available in clinchers
  4. I have heard good things about the Anthem 0 but cant comment on the component combunation you are talking about. You should also then consider the Felt Virtue (models 1-4) with it's new Equilink System. I spoke to Ken Horna our countries No.1 Pro Exterra rider and Pro Triathlete and he said its the best bike he has had and has taken a number of first places this year in the pro ranks. If you check their web-site you will see that a number of the top pros around the world ride these as well. (feltracing.com) The component combinations vary depending on what you want to spend. The Equilink System is designed by Felt in the US and manufactured and engineered in Germany. The system is excellent and is basically designed to optimise your pedal stroke and translate into power with minimal waste of energy and slip. Take a look at them, They are stocked around the country but stock is difficult to get hold of at the moment so you most likely have to order - but apparently its worth it.
  5. I have recently purchased a set of the latest Corima deep section carbon race wheels from The BikeHaven in Muizenburg. They are awsome. SA seems to be hell-bent on the same few brands - Zipp, Head, Campag, Fulcrum, so I thought I would do some research whilst in Europe. The Corima wheels are actually re-badged by a number of the supposed name brands and are recognised by the European pros as excellent race wheels. Just wanted you all to know that there is an alternative to the brands we mostly see on the roads in SA and much more reasonably priced!!! CheersMilnes2007-05-11 03:58:59
