Replaced the battery on my garmin cadence sensor, and now the sensor is not working at all. Thought it might be a bad battery, so tried a second new one, cleaned contact points, still nothing. Any suggestions?

Greetings all, My wife has the above mentioned bike, currently it is an 18 speed( 2x9) she is really starting to enjoy her riding and I am either considering upgrading the drive train to a 1x9/10/11/12, or replacing the bike with a complete upgrade, depending on the economics of the whole idea. So, has anyone upgrading a similar bike? My main aim is to try and reduce the weight of the bike, and increase the efficiency of her gears. Is this worth a shot? Or am I waisting my time and money, rather just go for a complete upgrade.

Guys/gals... I am considering upgrading my bike, I’ve always really like the specialized bikes. I’d like to take a look when all this virus sh*t is over... There are no shops near me, can anyone recommend a shop in jhb/cpt as I am in both fairly often?

Hey guys/gals! Been trolling the forum for a while now, plenty of good gen on here... recently back into the mountain biking scene after a substantial break, man how things have changed, bikes are insane. Live in South Africa for half the year, abroad for the rest, originally from the kzn midlands although when back tend to spend most of my time in Cape Town these days. Hope to run into a few of you on the local trails.
