Doubt that. Training wheels I'm looking at 3-4k. Insurance is a perpetual monthly payment..

You're predicting my future purchases? haha... To be cleaer - I have a set of wheels for racing. I need a set for training that a) I don't mind damaging and b) are less likely to be damaged. I have been doing this for around 15 years now and have ben served well.

I’m looking at buying a frame that has been repaired by them. Only problem is I am in JHB, frame in Stellenbosch. So, 2 questions: 1. How good are they? I have heard good things. 2. Does anyone feel like doing me a huge solid and take a look at the frame on my behalf? Pleeeeeeeaassse??

I weigh 75kg and so well under the weight limit. I contacted the manufacturer and they said this has never happened before. That is what makes me think that perhaps I got a dud. On the face of it, I would expect a wheel to be able to withstand a catseye (sometimes they are unavoidable -as in my situation during a race, I always avoid, purely from a comfort POV,) but I am no expert. Knowing what I know about after sales service and help in SA, I do not expect anything back -they have my money, why would they? Right? ;-) I won't badmouth or name the brand. But I will not recommend them and wont buy from them again (that includes the other stuff they bring in).

Bought a set of wheels. Won't say which brand. The second time I used them I hit a cat's eye going down past Valverde and the front rim cracked. Well within the warranty period of 2 years. Manufacturer umming and ahing about it. What do you guys and gals think?

Currently have 11spd Ultegra 6800 -what do I need (exactly!) to upgrade to Di2? Want to be able to shift on the extensions as well as the bullhorns. TIA
