  1. Hi Elwin, At least we get something from the PPA. A PPA Member starts races according to their seeding no, and the fun riders fast or not starts at the back. The PPA keeps your race results etc etc. Included in your PPA membership is your affiliation to the CSA, and they do absolutely squat for any cyclist in South Africa except taking our money. Nil return. Read all other gripes regarding the CSA and then comment on the PPA. BTW : I also had some run-ins with the PPA, jump on them when they step out of line, I do !!
  2. Assos is the only way to go, for long and short rides. They might be pricey but well worth it.You get what you pay for, you wont get a sore butt with an Assos on.
  3. They work if you believe they work ! Popcorn Please :
  4. I use the cheapies, Ocean Action Eyewear from a LBS with optical inserts. You get a blank insert with them that must be filled with your prescription lenses. I had my bifocal lenses done for + - R 1000.00 by my optician. The frame and lenses cost me about R 450.00 with clear, dark brown and orange, yellow lenses. Had them now for 3 years wiff no hassles. Looks like Dr Spock but who the fluc cares, at least i can see where i go and still read my Garmin.
  5. Check Johnno on this site, he's got a RC10 carbon and spare RC20 alu frame 4 sale for R10.000 In my estimation you can ask in the region of R7 or R8500.00 for yours. Good Luck with the Sale.
