What is the crash replacement policy and where do you find the details?
How the hell can 27000 cyclists lift their bikes over and ride? I WANT CHAPPIES ON THE CYCLETOUR!!!
Anybody else see this? What does it mean for Argus 2008?
Did not try the new wheels. Only damage that I can see is that the bike is a few grams lighter due to the one pedal being shaved as it scraped the tar. Broke my brand new Fizik tubby bag - it snapped right out of the bracket 
If training out towards the cradle, be careful of an oil slick on the road at the bottom of the dip. Not sure of the exact road, but if you are heading out towards the cradle, there is a dip that goes over a bridge and at the top of the road it is a T-junction. At the T-junction you turn left towards the rhino and lion park (this was the winter challenge route).The oil slick is at the bottom of that dip

That will teach you to motorpace a truck! You are lucky you only hit a cateye and that the truck did not hit brakes.
Not an expert but I would guess IDT does not damage the bike HOWEVER.....I have been warned not to stand when the bike is on the IDT as it can place to much strain on the frame and lead to damages. Also be sure to either use a sweat guard or dry the bike carefully after use to prevent the headset from rusting up. This is what happens to the bikes on IDT at the gyms - the headset rusts becuase of the sweat.

where did you get the temperature info from? my edge 305 does not have temperature which is the one shortcoming of it imo. word2007-08-16 02:24:29

Slowjoe, dont go telling me again that you FELT like buying a Specialized because I wont believe it. So glad that I do not need to wait with anticipation on this thread this week. Cant wait for my wheels to arrive. 
I suggest that everybody who rides this weekend, be it a race or a club ride, wear a black armband in tribute to Ryan cox

I have the Edge 305 and I love it. I mounted the bracket onto the stem as opposed to the handlebars in order to keep the "real estate" clean. Gives me flexibility to move all over the bars. Also, love the fact that it is wireless.
Condolences to the family. This is a very sad day for SA cycling

That new powermeter looks like the BUSINESS!!!! Cannot wait for them to announce price, availability etc. I think that it is going to give SRM, Ergomo and PT a run for their money (or should that be a RIDE for their money
