  1. We are extremely pleased to announce our latest partnership with Ritte Cycles! When i saw they were launching a new carbon race bike i knew i had to get involved. and i am incredibly glad i did, the more i spoke with Brand Manager Elijah Grundel the more i realised just how much he understood what is really needed from a new era carbon bike and wheelset. Forget the mainstream sales tactics - yes the bike is aero, yes its cables are integrated, yes a frameset is a stunning 790g. But, and this is the part i love because it show just how much attention, time and thought has gone into the new Esprit and Othr wheels. The frame makes use of the brilliant T47 Bottom Bracket Standard. It also rather impressively makes use of the UDH hanger system - so no matter where you are you can find spares. Standard sized headset bearings, a standard 27.2mm seatpost and a standard steerer tube all make for a frameset that is super easy to live with without ever worrying about future ownership. I have to mention the finish on the esprit frames - that raw carbon is not easy to do. ask any aftermarket paint lab to do it to your existing bike and you'll get a laundry list of pages to go through on why they will not take any responsibly for the final finish. It is by far the most challenging way to finish off a bike, don't believe me? go check out a few of fat creations paint jobs and his thoughts when he takes on a bike trying to get a raw finish. I think if Ritte can pull off a nude finish it very clearly shows that Quality Control at the factory is as good as it gets. period. I will touch base on the Othr wheel is another post - but in short. unicorn wheels. The planned build will be the nude black frameset, Othr integrated bars and stem, the stunning Ultegra 12s (might upgrade to Dura Ace, but only because i think it will look sooo good on this frame) and then as much as i have a real um, crush shall we say on the Othr Anywhr 40 wheelset - this bike is going to be a display bike used to promote the Ritte Brand, so i have decided the Deeper ENVE SES 4.5 wheels will make for a rather eye catching ride! until then enjoy the following stunning launch pics!

The benefits of Orange Seal over Stans No latex ball build up No need to remove the tyre till the tyre needs replacing Seals the permeability of new tubeless tyres so you need to pump them less frequently Regular and Endurance can be mixed No need to even remove that from within your tyre you can just keep topping it up Both do not cause latex ball buildup. The differences: Regular - Bigger holes are sealed and is the best at sealing, it requires more regular top ups Endurance - Slightly smaller hole sealing capability, Longer lasting between top ups No ball build up with Orange Seal, and you wont even need to take the tyre off till the tyre needs replacing Our apologies for the inconvenience, we have rectified the issue with our domain provider. Sadly we wont receive any old emails so if you could please resend us a mail we will promptly answer you. No Latex balls with Orange seal. Actually no need to even take the tyre off until it is worn out. You can continually just keep topping up. The weight from the uniform build up inside would pretty much be the same as the rubber lost on the tyre from use so that isn't a concern either. Dont mess about, just go with Orange with new tyres as you will find you will have to pump them up less frequently. Our recommendation is to use Regular initially to get a great seal, then use endurance to top up with. It allows for a longer time between top ups and mixes with the regular well. Then you will have a slightly better long lasting sealant having started with the regular and its fantastic sealing capability but gaining last-ability from using the endurance too.

Yes, the Regular is better at sealing larger holes. its also better at high pressure. that downside is it needs to be topped up more regularly - officially once a month. i on the other hand have found i can go 2-3 months without needing to top up. the Endurance is slightly less efficient at high pressure and with larger holes. but does last substantially longer. i have topped up with Endurance before without any issues noted - my thoughts are the particles from the regular sealant are already in the tire. provided it did not dry out completely the Endurance should at least in my mind give more fluid for these particles to be suspended in.

Thanks for the feedback - i'm glad it is working for you. i've stopped buying expensive tires as i find you just have to be unlucky and you are down R1500 to R2k per tire (GP5000 and Vittorias high end tires) my go to now is Goodyear Eagle F1. i'm still relatively new on them with only 3000km, so far they are wearing well and no punctures riding the cradle area in JHB with has glass all over the place. nice thing is if i ever do get a cut i don't feel totally upset at replacing the tire at half the price of Gp5000 tires (my favourite tire).
  7. Hmm, that must be one big cut. thanks for your support! i've yet to come across a plug that holds at pressure - i'll do a little research and if i find anything i'll post it here. i'm currently carrying a Dynaplug kit on my rides - i've yet to need it so i cannot comment on if it will work.

We are landing a Bossi SS Strada and the latest Bossi Grit SX. build kits still to be decided. For the Strada SS i'm thinking either Campagnolo Super Record EPS coupled with WTO 45 wheels or Sram Red AXS coupled with Zipp 353's.   11. I can't say i noticed and tire roll at all. i weigh 67kgs and had no issues racing VA at those pressures. i pump the tires regularly as i don't want to get caught out at to low a pressure. The damage to the sidewall was also pretty much invisible as it was hidden by the rim itself - granted the rim was a hooked Roval CLX 50 rim and that helped bite into the tire. i only found it out by luck when cleaning the bike - fibres on the side wall were then washed/brushed upward and became visible. 100% agree on the balance - i think there is still. lot to learn on the tubeless front. a rubber sidewall is a far better option vs cotton

Just something to keep in mind i also use the Sram pressure guide - but be aware. the tires i have tried do not officially support pressures being that low. https://axs.sram.com/guides/tire/pressure for road it calculates my front at 3.95 Bar and the rear at 4.2 Bar. i run my tires are 4 bar at the front and 4.5bar at the rear to be safe - those pressures destroyed Spez tubro cotton tires side wall in the space of 400km on my gravel bike it calcs out to 1.87Bar and 1.99Bar on the Maxxis tire it is clearly labeled min pressure at 35psi or 2.41Bar i have yet to find a tire that states lower pressures in line with Zipps calcs
  13. 100% correct. that said this stuff lasts really well. i run regular only in the gravel and road bikes and can go months never having to top up. one of the major upsides to this product over others is it does not cake into a ghostbusters style monster in your tire when drying up - ie you don't get a massive weight in on e section of tire where it dried out. it also peals off extremely easy for those worried about lugging around extra weight. MTB i do an initial fill with Regular and then on top up with Endurance. the smaller bottle with the injector is 236ml (8oz) the larger refill bottle is 473ml (16oz)
  14. then add in Orangeseal and you are good to go - it is the best for higher pressure uses like road or gravel.
