  1. Does anyone on here possibly know how to upgrade spring rate on the rockshox argyle 302 forks? If it is possible to even go to air on these forks? I am compressing to much while entering the lip of a jump.
  2. Yes I am on a Morewood makulu 27.5 DH rig. I am planning on entering the rest of the races this season, but was hoping to make a few buds before the races. What tracks are open to privet shuttles?
  3. Good day, I was wondering with all the DH races going on, where do all you guys train? I heard Theo trained in Tokai, Ike has Hellsend. But Hellsend is only open during limited times. (I should mention, I am in Cape Town.) Is there still any Downhill focused riders out there? The main reason why I ask, DH is a relatively dangerous sport to do by yourself. I am trying to find riding partners. I had a fun little group back in Bloemfontein. Hit me up one day when you take the big rig out for a spin. Kind regards, Steve A
  4. If anyone is keen, (this is not a promotion of any sorts) a mate of mine does the airbag sessions at Hoogekraal on Fridays. I am most days of the week and weekend at Gumtrails in Durbanville. Trying to spot the guys that leave tire marks on the jumps (to befriend them), but I constantly miss them. But as I am not the best jumper in the world I have taught a few of my mates to jump in the past.
  5. I live close to Gummies, session gummies a lot. I have only seen YouTube vids of gummies jam. We had a few guys that were maintaining gummies but it's only me and a mate of mine that still digs. The big reason for asking is to try and find mates to ride with. Unfortunately jumpers are a dyeing breed in RZA and finding mates that still jumps is hard. The younger generation that jumps is getting verry scares as well. So if a jam pops up I try to be there, but most of the time it's very hard to befriend the riders at the jams if your not riding.
  6. Good day, I want to know if anyone knows of a Dirt Jump competition happening this year or if there is even any happening in RZA? Where and how do you enter? On what platforms does it get posted? I am asking for spectators and as a competitor? Do they have comps at Hellsend or other spots in the WC? Kind regards, Steve A
  7. Any information would help, I am one of those guys that will wait around till a local arrives to ask permission to ride. I am a fairly skilled jump builder and always fix what I broke. There is always a spade in my car and water as well. So if anyone still rides, come and spend a day at Gum trails we can session.
  8. Good day readers and gravity activists. I am looking for dirt jump spots. I know of gummies, it's above my house, a buddy and me are currently riding and building (maintaining) there. I know of Hellsend (not always open, I have heard), Bel Aire jumps, and Potato trails and Southern cross jumps: no clue where that is but it sound like a jol, if anyone would like to share the location please. The other reason for the post, does anyone even still ride? I would like to find more "mates" to session with. Thanks in advance Steve A
