  1. I bought a second hand carbon bike more than a year ago and i haven't had a days worth of trouble with it. Ok i don't have the manufactures guarantee but i do have insurance for the bike. I will a second hand bike again and again and again. there is nothing wrong with it.

  3. BMT cycles Contact Trevor 021 887 3417 price between R1500 - R2000

  5. Post a pic of your bike. Someone might see something and advise you better.
  6. Go see a physio, it might be a better option than surgery. There is a really good practice close to D'Urbanvale. (MWB Physios)
  7. I agree with all of the above, bear in mind that you are not fit and the bike is going to take a lot of punishment not just on the trails. Stick with your bike. Set your self a goal and reward you self with a new bike when you reach that coal. Don't worry about bike info/specs right now, just ride that bike till you reach your goal. Don't know your weight but bear in mind that riding your bike is not enough, you will have to adjust you diet to ensure that you loss weight in a healthy way. I would recommend the Atkins diet and has worked wonders for my brother in law 125kg now only 92kg. Be very strict with your diet planning and consumption. When you reach your ideal weight REWARD yourself. It is not going to be easy but don't loss focus on what you want to achieve.
  8. You did the right thing by posting it, you felt it was a stolen bike and posted it! Unfortunately your getting allot of crap for doing the right thing by people who don't think before they post. Who can say for certain if the bike is stolen or not, there was not racial intent when posting the pic, there was an intension of trying to help someone locate their bike if it is stolen and asking advice about what to do. Who ever brought out the racial dispute, I feel sorry for you that your still living in that era and have not moved on, its 2012. Well done for posting it. Hopefully the bike is not stolen. Confront the guy asks some questions. There is nothing wrong with asking questions TO ANYBODY.
