You'll be find in PBHS even if it is on the wrong side of the rail road..... and its a great high school. Affies will unfortunately not be an option as us boere don't do well with no dutch speaking individuals. Not a lot of schools offer MTB as an official sport, but at least the there are ALOT of local races. Be prepared for Load shedding so bring along your candles and matches you'll need it... The weather is great and you can ride through winter without battling snow.

All my MTB's have been 2nd hand and I've had no issues what so ever. But for my own peace of mind I've take out insurance on the replacement value of the bike just incase.

Everything on the HUB is sold "Voetstoots". It is the buyers responsibility to check for issues prior to handing over the cash and taking the product. Out your front door not your problem.

Go and HAMMER it to up to the block house and down to UCT. That will be proper testing. You don't have to share but what did the build cost you. Mostly interested in the frame cost and shipping customs etc.
