Which one would you go for? Both carbon with fox fork and XT/SLX. The biggest diffirences are the wheels: Scott- Syncros DT Swiss and Giant- Giant wheels and then the Scott is 3X10 and the Giant is 2X10. Price is in the same range.

A bunch's riding etiquette was PATHETIC- swinging acros infront of each other, sudden stops and everybody goes OOO AAA yelling and screaming. Not to talk about the general roadsafety, everyone was peeling all the time to the front, and that caused that they started taking chances, BUT NON OF THEM WANTED TO DO SOME WORK IN FRONT!!! What options are there to get lighter on the avid centre lock rotors? 6 Bolt converter or what rotors have you used?

someone hade a frame for sale ( last year ) and the pic was taken on a tiled floor of which one tile was cracked: so there was a post that asked the weight of the frame...and the next oak replied: "HEAVY, cant you see it cracked a tile" And from there it just snowballed...

True- thats why im going that way. Seems like you can get a decent 6bolt rotor with adaptor @ 110-120g where the xtr centerlock rotor + lock ring = 140-145g Ive got the Avid G3 centerlock rotors and my guess is that theyre going between 160-170g, thats my reason for upgrading- saving approx 100g of rolling resistance.

Dankie SKAAP! CWC se verskil tussen die 2 is R300, so in daai geval is dit verseker die SID- wil nou net seker maak oor betroubaarheid ens aangesien my REBA nog nie vir my n enkele probleem gegee het nie. laters

SKAAP/ COVIE seems like both of you have ridden both forks- i have a reba on my duel, want to move that to my hardtail and get something new/maybe better for the duel, which i use for longer races ( attakwas, transbaviaans, pioneer )- would the SID be a big difference from the reba?

Have to choose between SID RLT or REBA RLT... I weigh 78kg. Anyone that has experience of both SID and REBA and does weight play a big role? Does the SID have more maintanence?

Hubbers, Anybody some info on carbon seatposts? what to and what not to, straight vs angle or info that one must look at before using carbon. for instance- the scott seat mounting is really strong, how compare the mountings of the kcnc seatposts- if you knoe them? reason, ive bought a carbon 34.9 seatpost with the mountings like the kcnc, are the durable, safe etc????
