I used to get myself extremely worked up when I saw this type of stupidity ( Hand signals and all )It never really helped, so I have now resigned myself that this is evolution before my eyes. Should they have an accident , the stupid gene gets eliminated - simple. I now just ignore it and Im much happier for it.

Competency is valid for 10 years, firearm licenced for self defence ,5 years.

A bit of advice - Appeal, sounds like you have grounds for a firearm. Don’t give in , its exactly what they want.
