I usually cycle alone, so carry a couple of spare tubes plus a small repair kit! Repair punctures at home on deflated tube.

My experience with Cajees, small items like tubes are high priced but you can get some great prices on complete bikes. Maybe that is the business plan, attract custom with the bike prices and jack up the price of accessories. blanc2009-11-16 04:38:03

I arrived early and got to the start with plently of time to spare, I think somewhere in the pre-race instructions it said allow 1 hour to get from car park to start. Car parking is always going to be a problem for an event this size. Hopefully next year at the Allandale parking there will be more tar and a proper bridge but when they start putting houses up who know what will happen. blanc2009-11-16 04:28:58
