There is a group of guys who leave early morning from the swimming pool in Sea Point on the weekends. Not exact details, but you can call Avron from Cycle Traders and I'm sure he can give you more info.
weekend before last chappies was closed to cars but they allowed cyclists to ride through. We rode the from Hout bay to Noordhoek and back with no problem. Not sure if it will be different this weekend.
