  1. As most of you will be making your way down to the Experience. I am sure that on everybody's minds the weather is a factor. Seeing that it has only once in the history of the race (according to route designer Dennis Lawrie) not rained. Be sure to bring some mud tires. Be sure to service your bikes every day to avoid failure on the derailleurs and chain suck Be sure to bring lots of extra kit to stay dry Bring a rain jacket - a decend one! Lots of wet and dry lube, some that you can take with you on the ride Lots of energy bars and definately supplements to drink. even though it is raining you can stil dehydrate. Then Lastly, below is the weather forecast for the duration: MAX/ MIN Wed: 19 /+16'C rain 70% Thur: 24/+17'C rain 30% Frid: 33/+18'C thunder showers in the afternoon. but a nice and hot day out Sat: 25/+20'C 40% Rain OVER CAST Sun: 22/+18'C 40% Rain OVER CAST Well then good luck to all partaking in this race and remember that Cyclejunkies are fully stocked and ready for servicing for this event. Drive safe

Best of all is to see the spirit of everybody enjoying it out there. Awesome. Those who are not here. Sorry guys!! You are missing out on great MTB action!!
  6. I agree with Morewoodmad. If the trails are not managed then incidents like these will happen. Rather ride where the trails are managed or get involved and start managing the trails at majik. Then at least one can take control of the feet going in or out. Sorry to hear about attacks.

  8. you can also speak to Jaco Ferreira at teh High Performance centre in Pretoria. He manages our teams fitness levels. I do agree with the others. You need to get some sort of direction inline with the current state of your body and the time frame that you have to cycle. Rememeber that your heart is also a amuscle and needs to get fit like the rest of your body.
