Ciovita is amazing with the returns. I have been a customer of theirs for years for this reason - great kit! However this relates to the Absa Cape Epic Rider jackets we received. I placed my order based on the size chart provided but the size of the jacket seems bigger. My partner had the same experience. We visited the race office at the event daily and were eventually told that the swop would be done later where the jacket would be posted. However it appears not to be the case. Hence this post - thought maybe there are other riders who would be interested in swopping. I have a ladies small and I am looking for a ladies XS - based on Gauteng.

Yes brand new. Was it the Absa Cape Epic Rider jacket that your wife sent back to swop? Not a normal jacket?

These attacks have gotten completely out of hand. I do my interval training at KK. Also felt relatively safe as there are always cyclists & joggers around, but clearly it's no longer the case.

Just purchased a Quarq Quatro MTB crank. Been riding with it for about 2 weeks. Yesterday the power & cadence reading was VERY high for a short period, after which the power & cadence reading "died". Is this the same problem others have experienced? I am so frustrated! All my training is watt based. Have sent Quarq an e-mail, hoping to receive a response tomorrow. Is there an approved servicing agent in SA?

Can anybody help, planning to do a 50- 60 km ride tomorrow at teh craddle. Where is the best to park and ride? I know Teak was a god place but heard it closed down. Thanks

Hi there I am in need of old riding gear and bike spares like tyres, rims etc. anythin that still can be used to maintain some old bicycles of school kids coming from poor families . The kids are riding on tyres that has done about 2000 km/s just so that they can do some races. I have given the some unused unisex clothing to one 16 year old boy in particular, He started Saturdays race in the unceded cat. and ended 18 in his fiels. This boy eats , sleeps and breathes Mtb Cycling and trains everyday to become a pro rider. Last year he was fortunate to get a Merida hard tail for his bday but as we all know maintance is quite high and cost allot of money and he is not in a position to pay for the upkeep of the bike . He is just one of many that loves the sport but need a help to keep them of the streets and into the sport. If there is anybody that can help i will collect in the Gauteng area and distribute to the school. Thanks

Please help, lost my Bryton Rider 50 unit on the ride this morning. Started off at Irene Mall in Centution on route to Mooi Kloof estate area. The rear entrance at Mooi Kloof Estates where the road turns from Tar to dirt. It must have came off between 13 -20 kms as the last i checkedm was 13 km/s and we stopped fpr a break at 20. Morning all, We are heading to the Northern Drakensberg for a week - anyone know of some good MTB trails / routes in the area? I am aware of the All Out Adventure Centre which offers routes in the immediate areas, but are you aware of any other long distance routes around?
