  1. Thanks for the note. Was it red and black (2007/8) model or the earlier pure red and later red and white? Anyway, think the suggestions you guys have made are good: - politely ask to buy it - ask where he bought it - if no proper answers, threaten to call the cops/local security company to check if it is stolen (clearly more just a threat but maybe guilt might show) - take a picture with cellphone and post it - report it to the cops/local security company if there is one? Obviously, its just a bike and whomever is doing the above for someone else's bike, shouldnt take any risks Since my bikes were scaled I look carefully at every bike I see along the road

  3. Vehicle avoidance manouver in the Pyrinees somehow resulted in the rear deraileur going into the rear wheel, snapping it off and breaking some spokes (how this is possible on a road bike is beyond me, seem to have a knack for breaking bikes, a trait I have perfected on MTB's). Twas fun to find a bike shop in rural France on a public holiday and buy a new deraileur and a brand new set of wheels
  4. Howzit, did it by any chance resemble this bike?
  5. Please keep an eye out for the following bikes, unfortunately they were stlen a while ago in March out of my garage but hopefully someone might spot them Bike no 1 Specialised Carbon S-works, ZTR wheels, white Reba shock Bike no 2 Yellow Colnago Dream 2, Campag wheels
