I rode that area on Saturday ... got home around 1pm but didn't see anything but I was nervous going behind the Engen 1-stop by myself .... was bikejacked at gunpoint in Feb - fuggin scary!!

I do that scary Fishers Hill most mornings and feel taxis trying to touch my elbow ....

In February I was riding a Canondale Scalpel and got hi-jacked. It was a loan bike and I was heading towards Wemmer Pan to take pics in the early morning light.Two pedestrians approached and one made as if to cross the road as I approached. Naturally I slowed down as I went between then, but they just grabbed me and marched me into the bushes with guns and knives jabbing into my ribs - 20 minutes later i walked out to the tar road. A long queue of cars was lined up in the opposite direction and this happened in full view of at least 20 cars (6:15am in Wemmer Pan rd). I lost everything including my high end compact camera, polar hrm, camelback, glasses and phone. Problem is now I am a bit totally paranoid when I see someone approaching me.

At around 5:30 this morning in Malvern (near Bedfordview) I came across a commuter riding a very neat looking Specialised S-Works. When I say neat, it was red & white, very clean and obviously very well cared for. No scratches, no dirt. I said "nice bike" and he looked at me then battled with gears, crossed the road and rode against the traffic for a while ..... deffinitely not 100% kosher.

I laughed so much I couldn't go for my ride this morning .....
