Given that I ride a Schwinn Mesa, would it not be true to say the Silverback Rox shock will feel like a LazyBoy (compared to Schwinn)? Cannot ride bikes to compare -

Silverback is R2k less - and comes standard with tubeless.

Looking at getting either FS 29er: http://www.khsbicycles.com/02_flagstaff_11.htm for R16k or http://www.silverbacklab.com/2011_website_SILVERBACK/mercurycomp.htm for R14k Both are new 2011 models. Any input on which is best? (and why?)

As the thread title says..............looking at getting the Flagstaff 29er. What are the opinions of "people with experience"? And a good price to pay (new)? TIA

Have just installed a new LH SRAM X4 shifter on my bike - checked a couple of Youtube vids to see how to adjust. The first up shift I do the indicator cover flies off and shifter splits half open !!!!!!!!!!!! Looking at tthe casing it seems the only thing holding the indicator side of the casing together is ....well....nothing. Is this a crap design or a crap install ? HELP !!

surely their choice how much $$ they throw in?? Nobody external dictated their budget. ENough of an advantage that top guys can have purpose built bikes for the event IMHO

Ok - I need to replace the LH shifter SRAM SX-4 (changes front chainring gears). So next question.......where can I get this? Also read advice elsewhere to upgrade to X-5 ? Opinions? Dereilleurs are fine (i hope). Will avoid pigs, pork, rashers, breweries, distilleries and even wine. Meths however is a different story............great for cleaning. Does that count?

Can I buy a spare online? Suggestions? Would it be advisable to upgrade?

My front chainring shifter seems to have stripped it's moer - local bikey says they sell both front and rear as a set, and it doesn;t seem cheap. Is this kosher? Bike is a Schwinn Mesa, with SRAM SX4 Any help appreciated!!

I see RRP for the SIlverback is about the R9k mark, and for the Axis is R7.9k, so it seems the Silverback is a good deal ? Or am I missing something?

Thnx TheDee - I can get the Nomad in 21", so should be big enough for me? Hear what you say about the 29er tho..........am leaning that way myself.
