I was one of those riders that came down. I came down of my head and side of my face, was taken to the hospital to have my jaw x-rayed as a was not sure if it was broken or cracked, the pain level was unbearable at the time. Lucky all clear just a nice shiner and a roasty on my cheek. I Look like a bit chipmunk on the one side of my face this morning. There was quite a bit of chaos with the motor car accident and the marshal that parked his bike in the road to warn the cyclists of the danger. The Cycles in front of me hit one of the slow riders from behind, i managed to slow down in time but then got hit from behind by another rider. Felt like i got hit by a bus!! Does anyone know what happened to the other rider? i was told he was still in hospital yesterday.

Hi Ant 85, Did you find some decent places to ride, I am camping at yellow sand and also looking for place to ride. Down here till the 6th.

Did a 2:59:55, by the skin of my teeth. 5th Argus and 1st sub 3 Whooohaaa!! Got taken out by a B bunch rider 1km from the finish, anyone know if the ride is ok???

Was going great guns to do a sub 3 with B bunch when I hit a cat eye and had a flat back wheel. Finished in 3:09. Well done to all the guys and girls who finished under 3!! Was a great day and the weather was fantastic, hopefully next year then.......

I would like to know if there is much difference between the two frames and is it worth changing the giant? The Raleigh is a 2008 frame and the giant is a 2007 with the integrated seat post. And how do the Cannondale carbon frames compare (Super 6) Thanks Craig

Hi Guys Thanks for the info, i am not sure what model they are all i know is thay are about a 2 years old. Looks like it might be a better option to get a set of clincher. What should i be looking for?

It?s got a campag body on it, can it be changed to shimano and at what cost and where? 2. Is the tubular a good way to go or is it better to have clinchers. 3. Decided not to go for the Wheeler but managed to get a Felt FC carbon frame.
