  1. Hi- has anyone got a fairly simple method of measuring the right saddle size to fit one's seat bones. i have been flirting between a 143 and a 155 saddle and can still not make up my mind- getting a rub from both! Seamus
  2. has anyone tired this tires out recently- I have put one on the Front of my Cannondale Scalpel to see what difference it will make, especially over Rocky and well as sandy terrain. jury is still out- in as far as the the rolling speed but they do give a lot of confidence especially on the rocky stuff- Seamus
  3. will do- many thanks Seamus
  4. and also - how can i tell if my Drive chain system id pre 2015 or not- can i send you a photo- i would think that its +- around 2015 seamus
  5. Hi- what is an RHS Ergo?
  6. many thanks for your prompt response. looks like my RD is a 5.5cm version and will not take a 11-32 cassette. i have a 50-34 on the front i mighjt have to look form a medium RD- Expensive exercise. i have also been looking at the Mavic R-SYS SLR Wheelset- its very light and i am plannibg to ride in the French apls in September. however i do not see a Campy option for any of the mavics that i have had a look at- what comment on this ? regards Seamus
  7. I am thinking of putting a Potenza 11-32 cassette on my bike- the supplier says that i need to have a " medium length" Rear Deraillier. how do i know whether the current RD is a medium or a Long- there is nothing on the RD to advise me. any one out there able to let me know? regards for 2020 Seamus
  8. I would suggest that u have nothing less than a 20 on the rear seamus
  9. Hi Shamus, I have the new 29er Cobalts. Have you got any spare spokes that i can buy. Seamus ONeill Botswana
  10. Hi i read an article in the British MTBR magazine, which compared various bikes in the 40K mark, amongst them was the morewood zula. It got ravr reviews and was quoted by the test riders as the best 26 ins bike they have ridden in the past year. high praise for a SA bike indeed. speak to Eben at westrand cycles and he will concure with me. however if you want a real MTB bike you need to look no further then the Gary Fisher Hi Fi pro 29 er, which although aluminium, is by far the best bike i have ridden in years. that includes the Cannondale Scapel 1, cannondale Rize 1, and Specialised epic. It is unbeatable in speed on the general track, climbs better then most, and desends like a bullet Very soon you will not be able to give your 26 ins bike away. seamus
