  4. Hi if you are looking for a new bike at around 8K I would say go for a Merida, look at the Matts TFS 800D and the 500D, you won't find parts of that quality on any other bike for that price! Some features, good air shocks, 10 speed, XT rearderailers and SLX front and good crankweels, good rims, lightweight bike, and a very good backup service! Go merida it's the best choice you could make!
  5. Hi I can assure you that no matter in what price class you are looking for a bike, Merida gives you excellent parts and value for you money. You can look at the Merida Matts TFS-800D, around R8000.00 or the Matts TFS-500D or 300D. Those bikes are around R7000.00 and R5000.00 Merida also have a lifetime warranty on their frames and an excellent backup service! Their bikes aren't that heavy, as specially not as heavy as Silverback! Go Merida, can't go wrong! Going to buy myself a Merida next week. Merida Matts Lite3000D (R15000.00) Hope it helps... Can always give you more advice since I looked at almost every bike from 5K-15K for myself.
  6. Hi guys, any reviews on this excellent dream machine? Full XT and Fox Shock. Anyone have one, or would like to add a review?
  7. I am 1.8m tall. I seriously don't think a 29er has to do with how tall you are, its just that taller riders will find it more suiting to their length... But anyone can ride a 29er short or tall. It basically comes down to the specs of the bikes, and should I go for a 29er or 26er? @6er is much better specked...
  8. I want to buy myself a new bike, (Merida Matts Lite 3000D)26" or (Merida Twenty-Nine Lite 1000D)29" Which one would be best, considering the Lite 3000D has full XT and fox shock. It basically comes down to the wheel size and thats what I am trying to find out. Go for a 26"/Go for a 29" Any suggestions...
