  1. If anyone has an entry please let me know, will purchase and do substitution process.
  2. Ben Bostrom AMA Superbike World Champ was showing the pros how it was done at the Epic last year. Not stopping at Waterpoints to go ahead of the bunch in backup to Sauser if he had issues. Dude is badass, also won RAAM in a 4 man team last year. Ben Spies, Cal Crutchlow, Guy Martin the list goes on!
  3. Anyone know when guys and girls who did substitute entries will get their seeding?
  4. Ordered a red edge 500 garmin bundle today. With DSL courier option. Will see how long it takes to get here...

I have been training with Energade past couple of weeks, should I look into using something like 32 GI for the race. Any other drink suggestions?
  6. Did a 5.30 last year. Going for a sub 5 this year. Proper long training rides start this weekend!
  7. Just ordered the storm 1.0 can't beat the value for money! Anyone have any ride reports of the bike?
  8. Thanks for the info! Decided the build is worthwhile and the way to go! The question now is what frame to go for?
  9. I have outgrown my Merida Matts Lite 1000-d 26" mtb and I plan to upgrade to a Hard tail carbon 29er. My budget is around 25-30k. Would it be more beneficial to build up a bike to meet my preferred components or buy the whole package in one? Time is not an issue as I am not in a huge rush. Have been looking at Scott Scale Pro, Scott Scale Expert, Merida Big nine 3000 carbon, Cannondale flash 1(alloy). Any Ideas?
  10. Hi. Thanks for the info, much appreciated. I managed to sort the pressure and the damping out in the end. Now just a matter of fine tweaking.
  11. Good day. I have a new merida hartail mtb, with the following front fork:Rock Shox Recon Gold R. I have not set it up properly yet as I am not sure how to do it properly. There is an air valve on the top left hand fork leg. I assume one should check how much pressure is in the fork and set according to ones weight. Then there is a red knob at the bottom right fork leg that adjusts rebound... How does one set that up? There is a picture of a tortoise and hare?? I have found currently when i ride without the lockout engaged the shock is very compressed even on a flat stretch. Please help any advice?? Thanks
  12. ok thanks for the info. I will look into it...
  13. think you'd have to drill it, they rivitted on...
  14. Does it bolt to the chasis? So one would just tap into the wires...>?
