  1. You can easily track people on Google maps usIng google latItude. It works brilliantly. Just download Google maps and make sure the other person has it too. In Google maps go to latitude and invite them to join. When they accept, they can track you. You can also set how closely they can track you. Town or best possible location.

    DNF at Epic

Did you see the guy right at the end of show (epic day 3 round up on ss) throw his bike into the gate? What a spoilt brat. Poor sportsmanship at its best!
  5. I was in Sodwana last week and, although i didn't have my bike, I definitely kept an eye out for good places to ride in future. The only place is on the beach. Everywhere else is SOFT beach sand and there is ABSOLUTELY no fun in riding that. The beach however looks like an AWESOME place to ride. The line between the high and low tide is huge and seems really hard underfoot. That said, the first 2km's or so will be bad as that is the section where vehicles are allowed. Thereafter you have MILES of beach without a single foot print on it. It really is a nice place to go even if it's not for the ride but rather the experience. I took this picture on the beach. Nothing but beach for MILES AND MILES! http://i142.photobucket.com/albums/r86/rhodeso/2011-12-30104447.jpg http://i142.photobucket.com/albums/r86/rhodeso/2011-12-30105639.jpg
  6. Anyone else got local videos to post?
  7. I rode on the Friday. The only issue with those cameras is that the lens gets dirty easily and then the video is blurry. If you don't wipe it regularly you won't be able to see any of your ride. It made quite a nice effect though. Perfect for a transition. I have a much better song on there too but You Tube doesn't let you upload licensed content so i had to choose from their library of songs. Not ideal to say the least.
  8. NICE! The slow mo is VERY dramatic! ha ha ha I have never seen those jumps at near DHL. Are they still there?
  9. I took my go pro for a little spin on the Spruit the other day and edited the video on iMovie. I think i have done a STERLING job! What do you think? PS: I don't need any comments about how tired i look!
  10. Hey C180, Did you ride in Clarens? How was it? Im going this weekend, any advice?

  15. Hi, I'm currently living in Italy and will be returning home at the end of the month. I thought while the price of bikes is so good here i might as well buy a frame or two and bring it back with me to sell in SA, i know i won't make a fortune but i think i could make something and every little bit counts. My question is this... What frame should i buy? I have been looking at Connondales, Specializeds and Scotts(Mainly because they are readily available). Any suggestions as to which model will sell best in your opinion? 29 or 29? If i do decide to bring in a frame or two will I be required to pay and import duties? As i said, I'm just looking at the options and gaining some opinions. Anyone wanting a particular frame, i will try price it.
