  7. Hey dirt-rider,thought i was the only one using the water/apple juice mix.I mix 2/3 apple juice, has to be 100% like quali-juice and the other 1/3 valpre still water. My other bottle i mix 3/4 energade orange/naartjie and 1/3 oros orange.Cant seem to down energy drinks normal.I also use this mix now and then mix 3/4 coke and 1/4 water but you only use it in the last 20km or so of a race/training ride its like 'rocket fue'..

  11. No i dont think it is,i am currently riding on both groupsets and cant notice a real.Theirs no need 2buy a complete DA grouppo all i did was fit a DA rear derailleur, cluster and chain. The lighter the parts the more they rotate and less amount of power is needed 2rotate it.
  12. The thing is that membership fees keeps going up but what are they using the funds for?.If their was a noticable difference than its understandable. However thats not the case.In my opinion either the top guys are earning a fat packet or theirs a funds management problem.PersonaIly i had enough and decided not to attend ppa rides anymore,i feel its not worth it,and a total service failure.U dont get your moneys worth.Theirs allways a problem either with refreshments, traffic etc.An example;the burger 2weeks ago, a buddy had 2 give another guy a R10 2go buy water cause their was no water avail and the next water point was 20odd km away so he was told, rather over budget than under. The only way i would attend a ppa ride is if somebody can get me the financial statements,i would like to see where my fees is goin2.
  13. I got a solution, just dont attend the ppa rides they are always disorganised and pose allsorts of issues, hey its just my personal opinion..
