  1. The sleeve is Aluminum and it was pressed in, but to my knowledge, no bonding or glue was used. I previously had one of these sleeves in a Swift frame I had.... It pressed in and when I changed cranks, it was just pressed out with the headset press.
  2. Hi All Wonder if anyone can help? I have a frame with a BB30 bottom bracket. A sleeve was inserted (pressed in) years ago to allow the use of a GXP (threaded) BB and crankset. I wanted to remove it to use a different BB30 Crankset and it won't budge. I'm assuming the aluminum surfaces have oxidized to one another. Is there anyway to get this sleeve out without damaging the frame? Thanks in advance for any help or suggestion.

  9. Hi All... I'm thinking of getting a coach to help with my training. I have a power meter (Power Tap) and have been training with it for 2 year and been improving slowly. However I'm interested to find out if I would have better results/gains If I had a "coach"? If anyone know's of any "coaches" or could recomend anyone specific, please let me know? Thanks
  10. Thanks for the Advise, much appreciated! I have also dropped JB a PM regarding the experiments you mentioned.
  11. So I've been thinking overnight.... What if I stripped the paint(still not sure how I would do that?) and then just put a clear coat over the existing carbon weave? Anyone have any advise on weather that is possible or not advisable?
  12. Hi All I have a carbon frame that I would like to "re-spray". I have done a DIY Alu frame before and it turned out quite nicely. I went the whole way with the Alu frame... Stripping it down to the bare metal and then priming and painting. With a carbon frame I am weary of how I would or if I should even strip the current coat of paint before re-spraying? Any and all advise on this little DIY project would be greatly appreciated! Thanks
  13. Thanks Johan.... When I'm up in Jhb again I will give you a call! Looking forward to getting them fixed, as they are really nice wheels!
