A good tip is not to have water in the camel pack pipe as it warms qickly, therefore a short blow to push the water back into the pack after each drink helps keep it cooler for longer. No need to blow hard and create a baloon out of your pack !
I am a big fan of Syntace.
Difficult to get hold off but well worth it.
Not sure how they did it but I suppose thats German engineering.
I know there is a new Cube design of mounting the front derailer, giving extra space and clearance.
Clever b@stards
That is a good question.
I have just double checked the geometry and foot wont hit wheel when turning.
I doubt the anal Germany engineers would allow that. I think that tends to happen when people try converting 26" frame into 29ers
In no rush to get rid on the DT Swiss wheelsets
I got a quote for R25 000, which I think is an awesome price for the bike.
My last two bikes have been Cube and will definitely go the Cube route again.
Thinking of mybe going the full sus 29er.
Any thoughts in hardtail v full sus 29er?
It is carbon with full XT except Formula RX brakes
I tried at 11:59 when it actually opened and did not get a response back after pressing the register button.
Then kept in trying until 13:20 and now on waiting list, even after doing it for the last 4 years.
This is blows.
If they are competitive (dont have to be the cheapest) I will support them.
I agree in supporting companies that support cycling.
Hi All
I am looking at getting insurance for my bike.
I would like to insure it against theft and damage.
Must cover training and races, in SA and abroad.
Any recommended insurance companies I can call to get quotes?
Value of the bike R30K
It would be great if I could get an idea of what you are paying so I know if I am getting ripped or not?
Thanks
26" dual sus for me.
I have seen enough people pushing their 29er up hill and trying to fix buckled wheels to cure me of 29er fever for life.
Thanks for the help
Hi All
I am looking for some technical advice/experience
I have the new Shimano XT 10 speed drive train.
I know my old 9 speed quick-links wont work, so I have been looking for new Shimano 10 speed quick links.
According to LBS, Shimano only offer the pins and not quick links.
Can I use the SRAM 10 speed quick links, even though it says for use on SRAM chain only?
Has anyone used a SRAM quick link on a Shimano 10 speed chain?
What effects does it have on the Shimano chain that is "directional"?
Are there any other recommended options?
Thanks
Wow, go Cube
Great to see someone providing some goods news in such a negative story
I am a big fan of DT Swiss all round. Been riding DT Swiss wheelset for over 2 years without a days trouble.
Not sure of the price though, got them with the bike?
Why not just buy local next time and get all the support you need!

Not sure if I will get any sleep tonight
