  1. I've just got myself an Android; Samsung Galaxy S3. It has a GPS on it, so will Strava use the GPS or will it just eat through my data? Can I turn off my data and just use the GPS, will that work?
  2. Hi Hubbers I found a GoPro on my ride this morning in and around White River. It had fallen from something obviously, and was in several pieces. I managed to find most of it, and it works! Unfortunately, I was unable to find the memory card, so have no pictures or anything of the owner and no real way to trace it back. Please share this news around, I hope to return it to the owner ASAP. Cheers Brendon
  3. Hi Hubbers Ive been racing the good old League in Cape Town for a few seasons, and am now making the move to the big smoke of Jhb, and was wondering if they have a similar set up there? Is there a structured league like we have here? Do they have a PPA type of organisation there? Im also looking for a new club to ride for, I will be based around Parktown. Preferably the club should have a racing team, if this is possible. Any ideas? I would really appreciate any information anyone has on this. Brendon
  4. Hi Hubbers! Bike stolen from UCT between 9am and 1pm on 26 July. It is white with a red Mule Bar sticker on the upright, just below the top tube and red Look Quartz pedals. This bike means more to me than my girlfriend, so any help will be greatly appreciated.
  5. Hi My father was out cycling on his brand new bike the other day, but unfortunately he had not tightened the seat onto the seatpost enough, and he lost one of the clamps which hold the post to the rails. He managed to find the bolt though. Does anyone know where I could find another one? Or have any other ideas? Help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
  6. Alto de Letras, the longest climb on Earth! Its an 80km monster in Columbia, elevation change of about 3800m. Thats an average gradient of 4%, which may not seem like a lot, but for 80km it must be quite a grind! An average time for the climb is around 5 hours. This is the ideal place for any decent cyclist to go and test their mettle, I know I would kill for the chance!
