  1. Yes katy but if the car hits you at 80 km from behind or 120 from the front you can still take evasive action, you can see it coming
  2. No, but if it's so scary to you going the wrong way don't you feel even more stressed when you can't see it? I'm just asking because I don't cycle long distances on the road.
  3. I often her about cyclists getting knocked over and unfortunately, sometimes killed. Now I'm not a roadie but often cycle to and from the various trails in and around Durbanville, so I'm on the road a few times. Why not just cycle in the yellow lane into oncoming traffic? At least you'll see the danger coming. Runners do it, and yes I know about road traffic rules but I say screw em.
  4. Answer the question, I too would like to know?????
  5. If they both sell at the same time.... ie: team up with another hubber you can have them for R5200 each. Speshial prize por jou!

  13. Or the seat post diameter was too small, I know that these frames usually have a larger seat post diameter
  14. Sorry if I offended you, It was only a joke. I expected a snappy reply. It's just a rip off between friends try not to be too serious on the forum. Take it back to the guy you bought it from because he should have a guarantee, it will cost a fraction of the price to fly it back east because now the box will be much smaller and will stioll only weigh 1.3 kg's or so. They will then send him one in return at their cost. You still win 29" man. Who did you buy it from?

  21. Thanks Guys, I'll do that tonight. Any excuse to fiddle in the garage.
  22. I thought the small screws were only to set your top and bottom limits
  23. I have taken a spacer out of the right side ( chain ring side ) of my crank assembly, I accidently put it in but my Bb shell is 75mm and the spacer was for a 68mm. When It was in I sent it to the bike shop to set the indexing, but then after removing the spacer ,naturally the chain rings will be 5mm closer to the shell so my front derailleur is not laying directly over the chain rings when I change gears. I can take it back to have set but I would like to know how to do it myself. It's an XT groupset , IF it makes a difference.
  24. This is mine and I love it.
  25. Damn right , and it's great!
