  1. A friend mentioned a fence that may have been the culprit. Like I said...... I needed to retrace my steps. Apologies to LuvHandles. Great product. Great price. Comfy ride too.
  2. I put them on like I normally do. No tricks. Just some water, and work them slowly onto the bar.
  3. I don't think it's that. I'm 100% sure they were pushed on properly.
  4. Granted. But I don't know how that could have happened as I never had a fall. Maybe I'll retrace my steps to see how/where this could have happened. I only have them for a week. My bike has stood against walls and gone onto the bike rack a few times. It could have been bumped against a wall or two. But this damage?
  5. Nope. No impact whatsoever. As you can see there is no damage to the adjacent end cap. I'm not sure how that could have happened.
  6. She's coming along nicely :-) I know I need to shorten the left brake hose.
  7. As Myles said. Any LBS that stocks Giant. They don't keep many of them though......
  8. I got it from Willams in Somerset West. It's got the Kashima DPS EVOL. Not the normal CTD
  9. good to hear..... they are pretty much bomb proof.... I've got a set on my 29er HT too....... I've always heard people say " light, strong, cheap...... pick 2 of those options" I found that tge i23's can deliver all 3 options, until recently, unfortunately, the price has gone up.
  10. I see the i23s are built and had their first ride. Nice. First opinions?
  11. amazing. ..... but those roots in the first few KM..... and that long descent. ...... .
  12. It was a bit treacherous with the downhills in the forest due to the rain the previous day. Some of those sections had to be walked. ...... But definitely worth the R38
