Sorry for the confusion. I think he saw yesterday's PPA Killarney that was cancelled. Seems like today is on. Eish, I thought we're getting off light today!

Thanks we can't wait either. We're in the deadline weeks now, so not much sleep! Movie is looking good though.

Baroudeur is the story of a hard working husband and dad that gets retrenched. None of his efforts to get another job succeed and he is forced to use what he has, including an old bicycle, in order to provide for his family. With the help of his “black sheep” brother, a bicycle shop owner and a pro-cyclist, he makes some life-changing discoveries about his life, career and faith in God. (Baroudeur is French for fighter, means one who makes a valiant last stand - so in cycling a baroudeur is a rider brave enough to go on a solo break, even if the odds of succeeding is small.) We will film this movie in January in Cape Town. Some funny comments! I started cycling 2 years ago and really felt that when I am on the bike I could worship God with my gifts and talents. I never take it for granted and appreciate every ride - it is indeed a privilege to be healthy and able to cycle. The main character from the movie "Chariots of Fire", Eric Liddle said "God made me fast and when I run I feel His pleasure!" I agree with this. And while cycling can become an idol (like anything else), let's all enjoy the cycling in a healthy competitive way! See you at the DC!

I normally ride with the Veterans in the League, but 3 of our team started in A-F group today for training. It was a most enjoyable ride, well organised, lots of lucky draw prizes and fantastic atmosphere afterwards. I think it is the Outriders that organise this and Tiletoria are the main sponsors. Thank you so much to everyone. It is a very worthwhile event. Keep up the good work. I know you had a challenge when the original date clashed with the World Cup Final, but thanks for not canceling the event. See you next year!!!
