  1. I think Suntour is normally rated badly cause they are associated with those low end bike forks they make
  2. Appart from the circumstances of a 27.5'' and a straight steerer, which one of these forks has the upper hand? RockShox Recon Silver RL Suspension Fork 27.5" 100mm (2000g) (Bout 6.5k including all import duties and shipping) or Suntour Epixon Epicon XC Air Fork 27.5 120mm with Remote lockout (1800g) (Bout 4.5k including all import duties and shipping)
  3. So there is a few local 2nd hand options available but all mostly coil forks. And I do have an old Suntour coil already if push comes. New I can buy from overseas. RockShox Recon Silver RL Suspension Fork 27.5" 100mm (2000g) (Bout 6.5k including all import duties and shipping) or Suntour Epixon Epicon XC Air Fork 27.5 120mm with Remote lockout (1800g) (Bout 4.5k including all import duties and shipping) Whats the best one out of those 2?
  4. Yes I saw there is a lefty for sale in classifieds. Just didn't know if that one will work since I know absolutely nothing about this shoxks/wheels etc.
  5. That's good to know. But at that stage I think you just get a new bike
  6. My head tube is smaller than 44. The bike is a cotic simple
  7. I'm having difficulties finding a 1-1/8'' straight steer 27.5'' fork new or used. Seems to be hens teeth. Anyone that can possibly assist here? Else I will have to import from the states.
  8. Has anyone recently bought from chainreaction cycles? The most expensive option for shipping doesn't say what courier will be used. Will it be door to door delivery?
  9. Ye the problem is it's a 28.6mm thread. I dont think track cogs come out with such a small screw thread? If anyone knows where I can source these cogs let me know please.
  10. I recently bought this hub: http://www.ebay.com/...984.m1439.l2649 But now I'm not sure what I need / or what would fit to get a cog onto that screw thread?
  11. I got mugged in Irene close to the cement factory last year. I didn't ride for a year I was so paranoid. I'm still paranoid. But I got back on the bike and training for the Kalahari challenge.......and I'm still paranoid. Best thing to do is to ride I guess and not let it get to you. But it's difficult....
  12. I just dont cycle there any more...FINAL!!!!' Got mugged with a friend there a year ago. My bike is not worth more than my life!
